Clerkships: Mentoring Tomorrow's Leaders Today

At the Swedish Family Medicine Residency Program at Cherry Hill we train leaders. Our faculty has been on the cutting edge of Family Medicine residency training for 30 years. Our graduates are at the forefront of Family Medicine, bringing healthcare to underserved populations and promoting social change at the local, state, and national levels. Our mission emphasizes the provision of full-spectrum family medicine services to an ethnically diverse population.

We offer a limited number of 2-6 week Family Medicine Elective positions on a competitive basis to highly qualified third and fourth year medical students from LCME accredited medical schools who:

  • Have chosen a career in family medicine
  • Have demonstrated outstanding performance in all core clinical clerkships (Primary Care, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN)
  • Have demonstrated commitment to working with underserved populations

Students should review the goals and objectives of the course, consult the calendar for current availability and contact the Program Administrator to confirm the desired dates before beginning the application process.
