Cherry Hill Fellowships

Our residency sponsors two of the one-year fellowship programs at Swedish, the Addiction Medicine and Sports Medicine Fellowships. Fellows from both programs are involved with resident teaching, especially through presenting at didactics and hosting residents on rotations, and both programs participate in the residency’s anti-racism work.

Swedish Addiction Medicine Fellowship

The Swedish Addiction Medicine Fellowship is a one-year fellowship program focused on pregnant and parenting families and underserved communities. Four fellows per year train at the Swedish Addiction Recovery Service (ARS), known for its expertise in treating substance use disorder in pregnancy, and rotate through a wide variety of urban and rural community settings. We believe in patient-centered, "no wrong door" care.

More information is available on the fellowship’s website.

Swedish Sports Medicine Fellowship

The Swedish Spine and Sports Medicine program offers one of the few combined family medicine and physical medicine sports medicine fellowships in the country. Each year, one family medicine and one PM&R fellow work closely together, having almost identical rotation schedules. Fellows provide game coverage for the Seattle Storm, Seattle University, high school sports, and mass events in the Seattle area.
