Virtual Tours

The Cherry Hill program has six continuity clinics, with our five Seattle sites and our RTT. Residents spend about a third of their training at their respective continuity clinics! Another important place is Swedish’s First Hill hospital. RTT interns have six inpatient rotations and Seattle residents have 15 at First Hill.

The virtual tours on this page will show you around all seven of these sites. Before your interviews, we strongly recommend watching the videos for the sites you’re interested in.

7) First Hill Hospital

In Seattle, the bulk of our residents’ inpatient work happens at the Swedish First Hill hospital.

Our FMS Team Room

Our residency has its own team room at the First Hill hospital. This is our home base for folks working on “Red Team,” which is our residency’s dedicated Family Medicine Service that admits patients from our five Seattle clinics.

We can’t show you any areas where patients are, but we do want to share that we recently got a new ultrasound machine for all residents to use when they’re on service!

Labor Deck

When our residents and faculty aren’t working on our Family Medicine Service, they might be found on the labor deck for OB rotations and call. Residents rotate on two separate labor services: the OB/GYNs’ service, in partnership with Swedish’s OB/GYN residency, and the family medicine-only megaservice that we share with the First Hill family medicine residency.

This is the official video tour meant for patients. The first few minutes have good footage showing you around the labor deck.
